For Certified Hunters aged 4 years old only, maidens at starting, the property of subscribers to any Hunt in Ireland. Confined to horses which have been sold or bought in under the hammer at public auction for €25,000 or less as an unraced three year old at a recognised National Hunt Store sale in Ireland or Great Britain in 2018. The recognised National Hunt Store Sales are The Goffs Land Rover Sale, Goffs U.K. Spring Store Sale, Tattersalls Ireland May Store Sale, Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale and the Tattersalls Ireland August Sale. The first sale to govern the price if sold more than once. 2018 British Pound = €1.14 (See full details of auction race qualification in 2019 Spring Provisional Summary) Mares allowed 5lbs.

The latest of the four-year-old auction races to be run this season that is confined to horses sold for E25,000 or less and it looks to be a wide-open affair. Thechaseison made a costly mistake on the final circuit in a similar event at Kirkistown earlier in the season which can excuse that and he did finish third at Cragmore on his debut behind Wide Receiver. He was three lengths in front of the potentially re-opposing Get Busy Livin in the Cragmore contest, whilst Frisco Bay finished fourth in the latest auction race to be run at Durrow last month.
