ONE DAY IN MAY would certainly not be winning this out of turn after three consecutive second-placed finishes, two of which have come by very narrow margins. She could be the one to side with here. Paul Pierce has a strong hand in opposition, as his The Mighty Mags would have been placed but for falling at the last in Boulta back in November, whilst Cougarontheloose finished third around here last December, in a maiden which is working out well. That would be form to note. Of the others, Annie Mulligan was an unlucky early casualty at Curraghmore last weekend, whilst Secret Of Elegance took a step forward last time.
