The first release of 16 entries for the 2019 Goffs UK Aintree Sale, which has produced three Grade 1 winners from just three boutique sales, are now online and feature 14 top-class Point-to-Pointers and Bumper Horses and two horses entered in the Randox Health Grand National.
The Aintree Sale has enjoyed another outstanding season on the track headed by TOPOFTHEGAME, winner of the Cheltenham Festival’s Gr.1 RSA Chase. Topofthegame is the Aintree Sale’s second Gr.1 Cheltenham Festival winner following the mighty SAMCRO last year – a big achievement from a sale that has offered just three boutique catalogues. Other headline graduates this season include Gr.2 winners COOLANLY and LISNAGAR OSCAR and the unbeaten and untapped talents Malone Road and Champagne Platinum. In total, the sale has already produced over 40 winners and 14 Black-Type horses to date.
The initial entries feature Pointers and Form Horses including Colin Bowe’s impressive debut P2P winner Papa Tango Charly, Josh Ryan’s Adrimel, Donnchadh Doyle’s Big Bresil, the Philip Rowley trained Bird On The Wire and The Composeur, Liam Kenny’s Boss Man Fred, Timmy Hyde’s Bumper winner Fiddlerontheroof, Michelle Offen’s eight-length debut P2P winner Get Prepared, John Nallen’s six-length debut P2P winner Minella Trump, Peter Flood’s Moore Clouds, Tom Lacey’s Staithes, Declan Queally’s Robaddan etc.
The two Randox Health Grand National runners to be offered are the Gr.1 winners DON POLI and OUTLANDER who are currently owned by Gigginstown House Stud and trained by Gordon Elliott. They also carry entries for the Gr.1 Irish Grand National.
The Goffs Group have a proud record when it comes to selling Grand National winners having produced 35 winners of the world’s most famous Steeplechase. Those famous winners include last year’s victor TIGER ROLL who will be racing to defend his crown for Gigginstown and Gordon Elliott.
More Aintree Sale entries will be loaded online early next week ahead of the sale which will be held at Aintree Racecourse, after racing, on Thursday 4 April. To nominate your horse for the sale or to register your interest – please contact Goffs UK on 44 (0)1450 372222.
