Race 1 - Shantou & See Moon 4yo Mares Maiden
HUMBLE GLORY stayed on strongly on her debut to finish fourth in a big field maiden at Boulta and that could leave her as the one to beat in this, particularly as she is sure to come on for the run.
Robin Des Smoke finished just in front of her on that occasion, and has a good deal of experience to draw upon and there will likely not be much separating them, whilst Not A Loss was supported in the market before her debut at Dromahane ensuring that she was sent off as the favourite. She is clearly well-thought of.
Race 2 - Tattersalls Ireland 4yo Geldings Maiden
SUNSET WEST put up a big performance on his debut at Boulta, when in a strongly run race, he stuck to his task gamely to only go down by a length to a more experienced rival. With the pair having pulled a distance clear of their other rivals, he sets the standard.
Here We Have It left a number of non-completions behind him when he was narrowly denied at Mainstown last Sunday, having jumped the last in front. A repeat of that effort would see him enter the equation, whilst Do The Floss went close in a bunched finish at Knockmullen House and is another for the shortlist.
Race 3 - Walsh Whiskey 5yo Mares Maiden
JACKIE DANIELS looked assured of success up much of the run-in on her debut at Lingstown, before getting collared in the dying strides by a more experienced horse. She should be hard to beat here if stepping forward from that initial outing.
The locally trained Katoune Tara was running a big race at Castletown-Geoghegan on her debut in the spring and followed it up by finishing fourth at Stowlin, whilst Groundsfordivorce, Jerminnie Green and Maybe Its Time are others that cannot be discounted.
Race 4 - John Smyth Plant Hire Ltd. 5yo Geldings Maiden
WHAT ABOUT TIME has been knocking on the door this season, having finished in the money on each of his three outings this term, and following a career best at Lingstown last time, he could get his head in front here.
Tardree did not get far at Kirkistown a fortnight ago when slipping up on the flat after a mile, but he is another with placed form from this season, as too having other likely contenders, One More Life and Milanford.
Race 5 - Boomerang.ie Open- Novice Riders
Just a head separated MARINERO and My Story when they met at Tinahely last month and that form could be key to the outcome of this contest, with the pair appearing to be the leading players.
Samanntom has previously enjoyed success around this course and chased home Longhouse Music in this race 12 months ago, whilst Better B Quick has already won at Tinahely and Dowth Hall this season and ran a fine race over the banks at Lingstown most recently.
Race 6 - Walshs Homevalue Hardware 6yo+ Maiden
The lightly raced MORNINGSIDE has only two runs to his name within the last 12 months, however one of those saw him finish a fine second at Boulta on the corresponding weekend last year to ensure he is of interest in this on his return from a ten-month break.
Crio Cuervos has placed form from his five-year-old season, however he would need to step-up from his return effort at Castletown-Geoghegan following a long absence, which may leave the likes of Dubai Dandy, Delice Du Chenet and Briggities Hill as the dangers.
