P2P.ie were very sorry to learn of the passing of Richard Mulcahy, a voice synonymous with point-to-pointing on the Cork and Waterford circuit.
Richard worked for many years with Bart Arnold Communications and he was the announcer at most of the Cork and Waterford point-to-points.
He was awarded the Rathbarry Stud Personality award at the Point to Point awards in the Silver Springs Hotel in 2012 for his contribution to the industry.
Our thoughts are with his wife Sheila, daughters Carmel and Margaret, brothers John and Aidan and his sister Mary. May he rest in peace.
