Weekend Preview | Loughanmore 26th October

Race 1: Dennison Commercials Ltd 4yo Maiden

Colin McKeever sent out his first winner of the season when Ballyadam won impressively at Portrush, and Boothill will be looking to continue the stables good fortune here. The son of Presenting finished a fine second on his debut at Castletown-Geoghegan and is sure to come on for the run.

Texas Gold disappointed at Toomebridge when a short priced favourite but can be given a second chance on what he produced at Ballysteen, whilst Pour Une Raison came up again big price seller The Big Breakaway at Quakerstown on his debut.

Race 2: Jacksons Butcher Shop & Bakery 5yo Geldings Maiden

ELMDALE came up against a smart looking individual when second to Do Your Job at Castletown-Geoghegan on the opening weekend of the season. He had the potentially re-opposing Beatthebullet in behind him on that occasion and will look to confirm that form here.

Autumn Crusade has switched yards since he finished third at a big price in Inch when trained by Andrew Latta. Now with Dermot McLoughlin, he is entitled to run a big race.

Race 3: Stonebridge Premium Feeds 5yo+ Mares Maiden

IMMORTALITY is a full sister to star mare Laurina that was unsurprisingly sent off as a short priced favourite ahead of her debut at Belclare in the spring. Running keenly on that occasions, she ultimately pulled up but could be expected to give a better account of herself in an open looking race.

Stable companion Active Currencies has finished a respectable fifth on both of her outings to date, whilst Ardmajilleo offered promise on her debut.

Race 4: Islandbawn Winner Of Two

LOUGH DERG LYRIC failed in his bid to win three races on the bounce when he finished second at Broughshane in the spring, but he could well pick up that winning thread once again here in a competitive race. Samurai Cracker would look to offer the stiffest challenge having ran well against Some Man, a horse that has won again, when second at Toomebridge, whilst Back To Bataan enters the race fresh from a win at Portrush on Saturday.

Race 5: Glenpatrick Horseboxes Mares Open

LONGHOUSE MUSIC set a record when winning 13 races last season, which saw her not only crowned champion mare, but also share the champion point-to-pointer title with Kruzhlinin. This would look a good opportunity for her to open her account.

Holycross Lito finished second on her penultimate outing over hurdles and has previously defeated geldings in open company, whilst Sliabh Mhuire Lass, a winner around here in 2018, has not been seen since finishing second 12 months ago.

Race 6: Move Right Therapy 6yo+ Geldings Maiden

THE BOLDER BOY goes in search of quick compensation, having been unlucky to make what had seemed a costly final fence error at Portrush just last Saturday. Golan Warrior was not beaten far at Armagh in 2018 and returns from a spell under rules. He would certainly have a chance in a race like this.
