It Came Pass lands Cork Hunters Chase

The concluding Buy Tickets Online and Save  Hunters’ Chase at Cork provided spectators with a thrilling finish with It Came To Pass and Wrong Direction battling it out from the second last fence.

It was the locally trained It Came To Pass who prevailed in the closing strides under a strong drive from rider Maxine O’Sullivan.

The 11/8 favourite Fenno’s Storm who made most of the running was headed five out and could give no extra in straight finishing fourth.

It Came To Pass has now won four hunters and connections indicated his long-term aim will be the Cheltenham Foxhunters in March.

The nine-year-old who is a half-brother to Lord Windermere had his first run of the season at Dromahane earlier this month where he over jumped and came down at the first fence.
