Closing date for Listowel Hunters Chase

Entries for the Listowel Hunters Chase close on Wednesday 29th May at 12 noon.  The meeting itself takes place on Monday 3rd June. 

Declaration to run must be made by 10am Saturday 1st June.

F 4:50 PM The Beasley Engineering Hunters Steeplechase of €10,500 (Generously sponsored by Beasley Engineering, Listowel) Winner will receive €6,300 (Penalty Value: €6,195) Second will receive €2,100 Third will receive €1,050 Fourth will receive €525 Fifth will receive €315 Sixth will receive €210 

A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have between 19th September, 2020 and 28th May, 2024 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Point-to-Point Steeplechase or in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland and that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing after 1st March, 2023 other than a Certified Hunters Steeplechase or a Farmers Race.

€94.50 to enter, €10.50 extra if declared to run

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2023/2024 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Office of the I.N.H.S. Committee, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 28th May, 2024 or the horse will not be qualified to start.
