Date Change for Limerick Hunters Chase

The Limerick Hunters Chase which was originally held on the second day of the Limerick Christmas Festival will now be held on the final day, Sunday 29th December.

Entries for the Limerick Maiden Hunters Chase scheduled for Sunday 29th December will close on Thursday 19th December at 12 noon.

Declarations to run must be made by 10am on Friday 27th December.

A 12:00 PM The Racing Again On 28th January 2025 Maiden Hunters Steeplechase of €10,000
Winner will receive €6,000 (Penalty Value: €5,900), Second will receive €2,000, Third will receive €1,000, Fourth will receive €500, Fifth will receive €300, Sixth will receive €200

A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have not won a race, including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing, and that have between 25th September, 2021 and 18th December, 2024 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Point To Point Steeplechase in Ireland or second, third or fourth in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2024/2025 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Offices of The INHSC, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 18th December, 2024 or the horse will not be qualified to start.
