The Acting Stewards enquired into the late withdrawal of Currish Lane from the 5yo & Upwards Mares Maiden.
Evidence was heard from Paul McAleese (Handler) who stated that he noticed a nasal discharge from Currish Lane after she had been declared to run, the Acting Stewards also received a written report from Terry Smith (IHRB Veterinary Officer) confirming the nasal discharge.
Having considered the evidence, the Acting Stewards took no further action.
Golden Vale (F) Point to Point Meeting Sunday 17th November 2024
The Acting Stewards enquired into an incident in the 4yo Mares Maiden, when turning out of the back straight involving Porte Jaune (FR), ridden by Mr. B. Dunleavy, Contrary Mary, ridden by Mr. S. Cavanagh, Maribeth, ridden by Mr. P.A. King and Princesse Milania, ridden by Mr. J. Dunne, where it appeared that Maribeth got tight for room and unseated Mr. P.A. King.
Evidence was heard from all the riders concerned and Mr P. Cantwell (Acting Steward).
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Acting Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
