Closing date for Down Royal Hunters Chase

Entries for The C&C maiden hunters chase at Down Royal on Monday 5th May, close on Wednesday 30th May at 12 noon.

Declarations to run must by made by 10am on Saturday 3rd May.

F 4:30 PM The C&C White Maiden Hunters Steeplechase of €10,000 
Winner will receive €6,000 (Penalty Value: €5,900) Second will receive €2,000 Third will receive €1,000 Fourth will receive €500 Fifth will receive €300 Sixth will receive €200 

A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters four years old and upwards that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing and that have between 25th September, 2021 and 29th April, 2025 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Point-To-Point Steeplechase in Ireland or second, third or fourth in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland 

About 2 miles 7 furlongs 50 yards 

€90 to enter, €10 extra if declared to run 
Weights: 4-y-o................................... 10st 13lbs 
5-y-o and up................................................12st 
Mares allowed.............................................7lbs 

Riders: Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. 

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2024/2025 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Offices of the INHSC, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 29th April or the horse will not be qualified to start.
