Pat Collins recorded his 100th pointing winner aboard The Alchemyst at Inch in 2018, 13 seasons after his first ride at Dromahane in 2005. Collins finished the 2012 season with 12 winners, the most successful of his career, having ridden his first winner on Smalltowntalk at Skibbereen in March 2006. In November 2012 at Loughanmore, he won the four-year-old maiden aboard the subsequent Goffs Thyestes Chase winner Champagne West, whilst he was partnered Hello Bud and Marinero during the early parts of their respective careers. Announcing his retirement in October 2019, Collins won 103 races in points across a 14-year career.
