Gary Murphy got off the mark between the flags aboard the John Martin Walsh-trained Live A Lot at Dawstown in May 2008 and he has gone on to build up a long and successful relationship with Ashleight and Michael Murphy. Together they have produced the likes of Listed winner Lifeboat Mona to win a four-year-old maiden at Fairyhouse, and finish second at Ballinaboola with Forzen Flame, a horse subsequently sold on for £145,000. Murphy is also a regular within the Team Chase sphere with the Killinick Hunt.
