The daughter of leading point-to-point handler Pat Doyle, Susie Doyle followed in the footsteps of her sister Shannie and brother Jack, the 2007 Champion Novice Rider, when she had her first ride in a point-to-point aboard the former Grade 1 winner Sir Des Champs at Quakerstown in April 2018. Her father’s Samanntom would not only provide her with a first success at Turtulla later that year, but she would also ride in the 2019 Cheltenham Foxhunters aboard the 11yo, and win a total five races together. That success ensured that she only missed out on a share of the Ladies title in the final race of the 2018/19 season, however she gained compensation when winning the Ladies title in 2022 after a career-best nine winners, the same year that she also enjoyed her first track success aboard her father's Knockanard Lady in a Punchestown Bumper. Susie claimed a second ladies title in 2024, when sharing the prize with Maxine O'Sullivan.
