Mark O'Hare is one of the most successful riders in the northern region with well over 200-point winners to his name stretching back to his maiden successs at Comber in 1999. In the intervening years, O'Hare was a winner at the Cheltenham Festival aboard Another Rum in the 2005 National Hunt Chase, was crowned Northern Champion in 2006 and 2016, and became the first rider in 16-years to record a six-timer at a points fixture at Taylorstown in April 2007. He achieved another notable feat when the success of Ringneill at Farmacaffley in February 2020 saw him ride a winner in four seperate decades, before then announcing his retirement later that same year, after riding a Bumper winner at Listowel on 21st September 2020.
