Benny Walsh is a renowned horseman who has competed in a number of equestrian disciplines, including victories as part of the Killinick Harries Hunt Chase team at the RDS Dublin Horse Show. Walsh rode his first point-to-point winner at Kildorrey in Febuary 2002 aboard Nickel Creek and has ridden over a century of winners since, including a maiden victory aboard subsequent black type winner American Jennie, and has had some notable wins including at the Punchesotwn Festival. Boola River was Benny's first winner as a trainer in his own name at Tinahely in January 2017.
