Closing date for Clonmel Hunters Chase

Entries for the maiden hunters chase at Clonmel, close on Thursday 2nd January at 12 noon.  The meeting itself takes place on Thursday 9th January.

Declarations to run must by made by 10am Tuesday 7th January.

The Rathronan Maiden Hunters Steeplechase of €10,000

Winner will receive €6,000 (Penalty Value: €5,900), Second will receive €2,000, Third will receive €1,000, Fourth will receive €500, Fifth will receive €300, Sixth will receive €200

A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing and that have been placed second, third or fourth in a Certified Hunters' Steeplechase in Ireland or first, second, third or fourth in a Point-to-Point Steeplechase in Ireland between 25th September, 2021 and 1st January, 2025.

Mares allowed ............................................. 7lbs
Riders: Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules.

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2024/2025 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Office of the INHSC, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 31st December, 2024 or the horse will not be qualified to start.
