Having ridden his first points winner at Glenbane in October 2009 aboard Money Trail for his parents Pat and Phyllis, Jimmy O'Rourke has made an association with many of the leading yards such as Denis Murphy, Donnchadh Doyle and Colin Bowe count, with numberous winners in the younger age maiden divisions. O'Rourke, whose family run Belmount Stud, which produced its first Group winner on the flat in 2018, also rode his 50th points winner aboard Bowe's First Account at Belclare in March 2018.
