Paul Cawley, whose brothers Alain and Brian are also jockeys, rode his first winner aboard Joe Daniels' Follow The Moon at Rockfield in November 2011, and went on to have his best season during the 2015/16 campaign when he rode a total of five winners. Among his 2018 winners, Cawley guided Cormac Doyle's Monkfish to victory in a four-year-old maiden at Stowlin, a horse that was subsequently sold for £235,000. Having spent a time riding in America, Paul joined the professional ranks in 2019.
