Having had his first ride aboard Fadas Jewel at Dungarvan in January 2012, Darragh Allen rode his first winner, Lenamore Boy, for Denis O' Herlihy, at Ballindenisk in November 2014. Since then, he has struck up a successful partnerships with a number of handlers, particularly on the southern circuit, with a personal best campaign of 18 winners in the 2023/24 season seeing him secure a first regional title in the southern region.
