Jamie Codd was one of the greatest riders in the sport's history since beginning his career in 2000 with his title hauls totaling 22 prizes - two national titles, four Northern titles, 12 Eastern titles, three senior awards and one Southern title. The Wexford native has also enjoyed considerable success on the track, including Grade 1 victories at the Punchestown and Cheltenham Festivals, and finishing second aboard Cause Of Causes in the 2017 Aintree Grand National. In November 2018, he became just the second rider to reach 900 winners in points, with success at Loughanmore aboard Pegase Amour in the older maiden. In May 2021, Codd retired from point-to-points after the success of Supreme Gift at Tattersalls.
